The Opportunity
Working under the guidance of our Horticulture and Landscape Manager, the Landscape Horticulturist will play a vital role in maintaining one of the most beautiful historic landmarks in the region. You will receive hands-on training in professional horticulture and work alongside a crew that takes immense pride in creating a serene, world-class environment for the families we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborative Teamwork: Support your crew with landscape installations and horticulture enhancements.
Planting & Installation: Assist in the planting and care of a diverse collection of trees, shrubs, annuals, and perennials.
Meticulous Upkeep: Ensure the health and longevity of our collection through mulching, watering, and proactive plant health monitoring.
Qualifications
Reliability: A solid work ethic and the ability to be present and engaged every day.
Physical Stamina: Ability to stay on your feet for long periods and perform the physical tasks required of professional gardening. You will be active and outdoors in various weather conditions, year-round.
Safety Mindset: Ability to operate a utility vehicle and equipment safely and responsibly.
Requirements: Must be 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the USA.
Experience: While previous landscaping or gardening experience is a plus, we value character and coachability above all else.
