Hardscape/Construction Foreman

Pay is dependent on experience, skill, and certifications. 7 years hardscape/masonry/related work experience required.

 

THE WORK

  • Lead crew (clock ins/outs, motivation, discipline, training, safety, productivity, efficiency, etc.)
  • Lay permeable and traditional pavers and patterned & irregular natural stone
  • Build dry and masonry walls
  • Install pools, spas, ponds and water features
  • Operate all machinery in all conditions
  • Complete projects with little oversight from others
  • Develop & meet daily & weekly goals
  • Layout and install from plans independently, including setting grades correctly
  • Inspect job sites throughout for highest quality standards

 

THE SKILLS:

  • Highly motivated, focused
  • Computer/app literate
  • A great problem solver and critical thinker
  • Proficient in using simple hand tools & small equipment
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills in a construction setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately

 

BONUS SKILLS

  • Proficiency in OSHA regulations and safety protocols
  • Experience in project scheduling and construction management software
  • Budgeting and construction estimating processes
  • Background in welding, construction, & mechanical work
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

Preferable: CMHA/ICPI certified, drystone/masonry certified, or related fields
